In 1984, Alan Lokey, founder of Records Management Systems, realized the necessity for a full service information service bureau in the Florida marketplace and established Records Management Systems of Florida, Inc. to fill that need.

Starting out offering Records Management-Consulting services to publishing giant Harcourt Brace Jovanovich and manufacturing companies such as Piper Aircraft, Records Management Systems quickly expanded and became one of the largest document conversion companies in Florida. We continued to expand our services throughout the 1990’s by offering Office Equipment and Micrographic sales, service and repair, while continuing to develop our Document Conversion division.

Today, our dedication to excellence and Mr. Lokey’s vision has allowed Records Management Systems to expand our services even further to provide Digital Medical Imaging Systems, Electronic Document Management programs, Documents Scanning products and Off-site Storage and Retrieval services. Each of these areas is committed to providing the finest possible product and best possible service in the State of Florida.
